National Park Centre Zernez

Echt wild

Venue

Nationalparkzentrum
Zernez

The Swiss National Park stands for true wilderness. Wilderness is also in the centre of our completely new exhibition. Everything you will experience here is not only "truly wild", but also "truly National Park". We invite you to be amazed, but also to lend a hand and help to develop. Let yourself get excited about the secrets of nature and the daily wonders that you can discover on your walks along the trails through the National Park.

New exhibition from 3 June 2023:
Discover the National Park in an unusual way, with previously unseen perspectives from the wildest corners of the park and an acoustic experience that will captivate visitors.

Interactive stations provide fascinating insights into selected research projects. In a lively production, you will also learn exciting facts about key moments in the history of the National Park. But what about your own ideas of wilderness? How would wilderness develop if you could determine it? These questions run as a thread through the entire exhibition and finally lead to an unexpected finale.

5 languages (DE/FR/IT/RM/EN) and age-appropriate mediation:
The new National Park exhibition is an experience for all ages. An audio guide in five languages, adapted to different target groups, accompanies young and old through the exhibition rooms. Children up to the age of 12 follow the absent-minded Ratsch and the clever Furbina on their adventurous journey through the exhibition. The youngest visitors discover the National Park Centre at play stations specially signposted for them.

The staff at the information desk will provide information about hikes, guided excursions, events or the condition of the trails. The Zernez guest information is also located in the National Park Centre.

A free return ticket: When they travel to a park, the visitors can buy a single ticket. They then ask the event's or activity's organisor to stamp their ticket so that it makes it valid for the return trip. This offer is available from anywhere in Graubünden on Rheatian Railway and PostBus lines. More information: fahrtziel-natur.ch/retour
